I'm Engaged!

Sorry haven't updated this thing in a while but been really busy ever since Michael got home. So I have some really great news!!! I'm engaged, as of Valentines Day. It was a wonderful night.

He took me to the W Hotel in downtown Dallas!! What a beautiful hotel!

We went up to our room and the view was just awesome, so pretty looking over Dallas. We got all dolled up, yes even me I wore a black dress and HEELS!! Can you believe it, I was a girly girly!! And he wore his Class A's. Sorry don't really have pictures of that. We forgot the camera, cause I had no idea on where or what we were going to do. All I knew was I had to dress up. So we went down stairs and ate at Craft. If you ever get a chance to go eat oh my goodness, GO! That food is the best food I have ever had. Michael and I laughed so much while we were there. You drop a crumb on the table and BAM! there is someone there to clean it up. They even match your napkins to what you are wearing. So dinner was great, terrific, the best and amazing. After we ate Michael was saying how good this food was and how he wanted the chef to be his Valentine. So the chef cam out and we talked for a while he was really nice. So nice that he bought us our bottle of champagne. We finished our champagne and went back up stairs. We get to our room and Michael opens the door and the lights were off, music was going, and rose petals all over the floor.

I was just completely in shock saying who did this, how, what and when did you tell them cause you never left my side when we were eating. The boy has tricks up his sleeves. I was shaking and needing a cigerette. So I asked Michael to give me one and he drops them on the floor and when I look down at him he is on one knee asking me to marry him. Awww I love him so much.

Then we went up to Ghost Bar. We went out on the glass balcony. That was very scary, but really cool.

I had the best Valentine's Day ever! And I do believe that I'm the happiest girl alive!

Michael is HOME!!!

I soooo super happy my baby is back at home. Well still sucks that he is in Killeen, TX and I'm in Lewisville. But we will get to see each other every weekend. Well I have a Video of the home coming ceremony. I will try to get it up tonight!!

Christmas 2008

I hope every one had a great Christmas!! Ours was good a little different this year, not having my mom and dad there this year. They had to go to Missouri for my Grandma’s funeral. And not having my baby there with me really sucked big time, but I just have to remember that he will be home soon. And things will be better.

We started off Christmas Eve at my Mom and Dad’s opening presents and eating little ham sandwiches (they were really good) Then came back home and made ginger bread cookies for Santa. (Those were good too) After that I thought they would NEVER go to bed. ( I had so much wrapping to do!!)

So the kids and I opened presents Christmas morning, they had a really good Christmas! Got pretty much everything that they asked Santa for.

As soon as I figure out how to upload the movie of the kids opening presents I will add it here..lol



Then we headed out to my brother. We were suppose to do shrimp and tamales. Well that didn’t happen either since my parents came out there on Christmas Eve to do Christmas with Wes, Erin and Will. They ate almost all the shrimp and tamales!! LOL They did leave a few for me to snack on. So since we didn’t have a Christmas dinner we had Ihop, yes I said Ihop.




Then the kids went with their father and did Christmas. So I had me some nice and quite time!! Yeppy Skippy!! I cleaned out my car, took a nap and then ran to the gas station and got a bottle of champagne and some orange juice!! YEA!!! MIMOSA’S! So Christmas was good just different.
